Malaysia Trademark Classification

Malaysia adopts the 10th edition of the Nice Classification

What are Trademark Classifications?

Trademark classifications are vital as trademark registration will protect your trademark solely in the class that you’ve established on your trademark registration application. Upon filing your trademark registration application, the class of goods or services that will come under the protection of your trademark must be named. Your trademark will protect only the goods, services and class that you identified in your application.
